FAQs

  • In therapy, you can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment where we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, struggles and personal strengths. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, any challenges you're facing, and what you're hoping to gain from our time together. As we move forward, we’ll collaborate on practical strategies and insights to help you feel more empowered and supported. Every session is tailored to your needs, and you can move at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a space for healing, growth, and positive change.

  • All of my therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth, allowing us to meet online through a secure video platform. This makes therapy more convenient, as you can participate from the comfort of your home or any private location. Telehealth provides a highly effective and supportive environment for your therapeutic journey, ensuring you receive the same quality care as in-person sessions.

  • My therapy sessions are $180 for a 50-minute session. This fee includes a comprehensive assessment, a personalized treatment plan, and therapy sessions tailored to your unique needs.

As an out-of-network provider, I can provide you with a superbill that includes all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement at the out-of-network rate. This gives you the flexibility to receive the care you need while maximizing your insurance benefits.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your financial well-being is important to me, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

  • I understand that insurance coverage is important for many people seeking therapy. However, I’ve chosen not to contract directly with insurance companies because it allows me to offer more personalized care and greater flexibility in treatment. By working independently, I can focus entirely on what’s best for you, without the limitations that insurance companies may place on session length or treatment options.

Additionally, paying privately ensures greater privacy for your mental health care records, as they won’t be shared with insurance companies or included in your medical record. This helps maintain confidentiality and protects your personal information.

I accept FSA/HSA cards as well as traditional credit cards, giving you more options for payment. As an out-of-network provider, you also have the option to seek reimbursement from your insurance at the out-of-network rate, offering you more control and privacy in your treatment journey. If you have any questions about insurance or payment options, I’m happy to discuss them with you.

  • A good faith estimate explains the expected cost of your mental health treatment and is required as part of the no surprises act. It outlines the expected fees for things like individual sessions, any additional charges (such as for missed appointments), and how payment works. The goal is to help you understand the costs up front so there are no surprises later on. If you have any questions or need more information about your right to a GFE, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
